My Mother was a traditional rug hooking instructor for over 30 years.  She was personally trained in many techniques by Pearl McGowen. She taught at Rug Hooking camps across the US. This pattern has been kept in Mom's large hooking parlor. It shows signs of storage, but this hasn't affected the pattern.
She usually started the most challenging parts first. In this case, she started on one of the angels.
I do not clean or polish any items other than a light dusting.
