Vintage Olds Studio Model Cornet 1955 Very Nice, Case, Mouthpiece, Paperwork

Up for sale is a Vintage F.E Olds & Son Studio Model Cornet.  This is one of the nicest vintage horns I have seen!  Studio model cornet, serial number 149665 with matching serial numbers on the valves, circa 1955.  Very low playing time on this horn, overall extremely nice.  Lacquer appears to be original, I would say 95% - not quite perfect - a few spots, scratches here and there, very minor.  Engraving is nice and sharp.  The valves are in great shape - the red coloration you might see in the picture is due to reflection.  All slides pull, nothing stuck.  I had this serviced a few years ago and have not played it much since - ready to go!  Comes with likely the original large-shank cornet mouthpiece (required for an Olds cornet of this vintage due to an oversized mouthpiece receiver) Olds 3, also in great shape, light insertion wear and perhaps a little tarnish in the hard to reach spots.  Original case - great shape, latches spring and catch, excellent handle - some wear to the exterior and to the trim, interior is good. but has a slight vintage odor.   Original key, lyre, paperwork included.  This is a complete package!  Free insured USPS shipping.
