Roth Reynolds Vintage Cornet
Made in Cleveland, OH. Serial #81XXX
This well used but playable vintage cornet dates from 1959 based on the serial number. This model was originally designed to give the beginning student an easy playing, well-constructed horn with a warm, full tone that a professional would also be comfortable using. 60 year old horn, and I found it to still play well after all these years. The finish has seen better days for sure, but it is still solid albeit with some dings but nothing that would keep you from making music with this. Bell lip a little bit bent but it just adds character to this vintage horn. Slides move and spit valves work fine.
Comes with the original Roth size 7 cornet mouthpiece in good shape except for some plier marks around the top of the shaft. Also comes with a new padded bag that fits the cornet well with a side zipper pocket for the mouthpiece and supplies.
