Very comfortable dress to wear; the slip dress is two thicknesses, so while it does not allow for any transparency, it is still light and moves easily. It is also intended to be worn alone as a long slender gown if desired. I wore this wedding dress only for our actual wedding service, not for the reception or dinner--no tears, no signs of wear, no stains, very well cared for.
