Description
We are selling my wife's wedding dress that was worn only once on our wedding day in January 2019. It has been stored in its original garment bag (which will be included when purchased) since and is in good condition. There is one tear in the outer mesh on the bottom of the dress that occurred on the wedding day, but it is not noticeable due to the many layers.Although the dress has been laundered, we did take pictures outside on our wedding day and there are some spots of discoloration on the very bottom of the dress from dirt that did not come out. I was unable to get a clear picture of this, because it is not terribly noticeable, but it may come out with professional cleaning.
There are layers of tulle and a silk-like fabric lining the inside of the dress, making the bottom silhouette similar to a ballgown.
The dress colors are champagne, ivory, nude with silver flakes. The silk-like fabric lining and undertone of the dress appears blush/pink under certain lighting.
The dress was originally ordered as a size 20 under Allure's bridal guidelines,
but it was altered at the waist and bust so it is likely that it fits more like an 18. The hip size does not matter as much since the zipper ends right above the hip. Here are the Allure size guides for both of these sizes so you can get an idea of the specific measurements: 18: Bust 42.5, Waist 34.5, Hips 46 20: Bust 44.5, Waist 35.5, Hips 47.5 Also, the original dress did not have the belt pictured in our photos, as my wife bought it separately and had the bridal shop adhere it to the front of the dress. We are not sure if you would be able to take this belt off or not.
The entire dress has embroidered lace and mesh on the shoulders and sleeves.
The back of the dress includes buttons leading all the way to the bottom of the train, and one of the buttons has a loop to create a bustle if desired. I'm including pictures of my wife in the dress to give an example of the dress on. We couldn't hold the train out very well, but it is quite long.
After all the alterations (0)/addition of the belt (0)/price of the dress itself (,618), we invested quite a bit. The total we spent was right at ,000 so we are hoping to get less than half that out of the dress now.
